“Muscat has an old-world charm that is hard to ignore. I visited in December when the weather was cool, and the outdoors had lovely light for photography—especially in the surrounding desert areas. I indulged my foodie side at two restaurants—Bait Al Bahr and Bait Al Luban—both in the heart of the city. No one should leave this gorgeous place without a walk down its captivating Mutrah Corniche, with picturesque views of the Arabian Sea. Also, donʼt miss shopping at the Mutrah Souq: walking along its winding alleys and haggling with the vendors for some unique souvenirs made me feel like I was in an Arabian Nights tale!”

“Sitting along the banks of the Brahmaputra while taking in Guwahatiʼs rich culture and historical significance is a memory I will keep with me forever. The city is known for various holy sites, and I personally loved visiting some of its famous temples. Going to the Kamakhya Temple during the Ambubachi Mela in peak monsoon season in June was a very enriching experience. Do try out the delicacy khar, an ingredient as well as a dish by itself thatʼs made with the remnants of sun-dried banana peels. It’s one of the best and tastiest foods I have ever eaten!”
